University of Denver-lacrosse stadium Placemaking

INTRODUCTION

For this project, our team was brought on to develop a comprehensive placemaking graphics package for the University of Denver’s Lacrosse Stadium. As one of the most competitive and award-winning lacrosse programs in the country, DU identified a need to strengthen the visual identity of the stadium environment and enhance the overall game-day experience.

Our scope centered on creating dynamic, interactive graphics and large-format installations that celebrate the program’s legacy. This included designing feature banners highlighting standout athletes and coaches (past and present) as well as developing visual storytelling elements that elevate team pride and deepen audience engagement.

Beyond aesthetic improvements, the initiative supports broader program goals. By transforming underutilized spaces into energetic, brand-forward environments, the new graphics help position the stadium as a premier collegiate lacrosse venue. The enhanced atmosphere aids in attracting prospective donors, boosting community interest, and increasing attendance at games.

This project showcases my ability to integrate environmental graphic design, brand strategy, and storytelling into cohesive visual experiences that support both engagement and institutional goals.
